The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the region and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could enable the team enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on next week.
