The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge allies to supply Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to target Russian targets during a meeting in the UK capital on Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", including more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have agreed to grant Kyiv defense assurances once hostilities pause is brokered.

Zelensky has been urging for an extended period for more extended-range systems from the West, a move that the Russian government has cautions would intensify the hostilities.

President Zelensky is travelling from Belgium, where he conferred with European representatives on Thursday requesting funding aid.
