An extensive extended cruise circling the Land Down Under was terminated days after the death of an older woman who was left behind by the vessel on a distant coastal location.

The passenger had been walking on the tropical location with shipmates from the vessel, but broke off from the party for a rest. The liner departed without her and came back several hours later after the ship staff became aware the lady was unaccounted for.

A large-scale hunt found her remains the next day.

Investigative bodies are looking into the incident, together with investigators and the state coroner.

Chief Executive of the voyage organizer said that travelers and staff on the vessel were told that the rest of the cruise had been cancelled due to the "tragic passing and prior engine troubles".

Via official communication, he mentioned that travelers would be given a total repayment, and said the organization was working "to organize the travel back of the passengers via private aircraft".

Regulatory bodies also released an revised statement, and said they had "issued a directive to the Master" preventing any further travelers from boarding the vessel.

She further stated that she wished the inquiry would be able to determine what "the organization should have undertaken that might have preserved Mother's existence".
